There are no recommended group travel arrangements or coordinated vessel departure schedules at present, but members must plan flights accordingly.
Arrival: International flights should land at Velana International Airport by 12:30 pm to avoid delayed departure and lost onboard time.
Pick-up is scheduled between 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm. The meeting point is Burger King at the Arrivals exit, where a Karma Group representative will meet you and escort you to board Karma Fushi.
If landing after 12:30 pm, we recommend arriving one night prior and booking a stay in Hulhumalé (USD 260–300 per night) to ensure smooth next-day boarding and a one-time vessel check-in, in line with liveaboard procedures and for a better first impression.
Departure: Check-out is at 9:00 am. Airport arrival is approximately 9:30 am. Please book outbound flights accordingly.

Baa Atoll

Domestic flight schedules to Baa Atoll are subject to change – This itinerary is dependent on local flight timings.
Arrival: Recommended to arrive in Malé 1 day before, or international flights must land by 8:30 AM to connect with the approx 11:30 AM domestic flight to Baa Atoll.
Arriving earlier supports smooth embarkation and more time to enjoy activities on Day 1.
Once you exit International Arrivals, kindly proceed to Counter C-11 for your domestic check in to Dharavandoo

Will there be a transfer from Malé to Karma Fushi included?
Yes. Return transfers are included for all itineraries — domestic flight + boat for Baa Atoll; dhoni transfer from Velana International Airport for both Malé Atoll itineraries.

Do I need to provide my international flight details?
Yes. Providing your international flight itinerary in advance allows Karma Concierge to coordinate pick-ups and domestic transfers smoothly.

How are meals served onboard Karma Fushi?
All meals are served buffet-style, featuring a rotating menu of South Asian, International and local dishes. Select evenings may include plated gourmet or live cooking dinners, or an onboard BBQ.

Are beverages included?
Yes, unlimited soft drinks, bottled water, tea/coffee, and house beer, wine, and spirits are included. Premium options are available at an additional cost.

Can I book a scuba diving experience?
Yes, both Discover Scuba Dives and full certified scuba diving are available. These must be pre-booked through Karma Concierge. A valid medical certificate is required; certified diving also requires proof of certification.

Are resort activities included?
Yes, most itineraries include a curated 5-star resort excursion: currently Dusit Thani Maldives (Baa Atoll), Oaga Art Resort (North Malé), South Male does not. See Inclusions for full details. Resorts are subject to change.

Do the cabins have ocean views or balconies?
Upper deck premium double cabins feature large windows and access to a shared balcony with loungers and a private dining table. Other cabins are lower deck and offer traditional porthole views.

Is Wi-Fi available onboard?
Yes, basic Wi-Fi is available for messaging and email. Signal strength may vary depending on location while at sea.

Can I opt out of excursions and stay onboard?
Absolutely. Guests are welcome to relax on board at any time during off-boat excursions or island visits. Please note that limited yacht amenities remain available on board when off-boat activities are being prioritised.

What’s the weather like in the Maldives?
The Maldives has a warm, tropical climate year-round (25–31°C / 77–88°F).

What currencies and payment methods are accepted onboard?
We accept cash in MVR, USD, and GBP, as well as all major credit cards (processed in USD).

What should I pack for the cruise?
Light breathable clothing, swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Water shoes or reef-friendly footwear are useful for excursions. High-quality snorkelling gear is provided onboard at no charge, but you may bring your own.

Is snorkelling equipment provided?
Yes – high-quality snorkelling gear, including masks, snorkels, and fins, is available for all guests at no additional charge.

Are there any age restrictions for children?

Is there medical assistance onboard?
Basic first aid and seasickness medication are available. For more serious medical needs, the crew is trained to coordinate emergency assistance via the nearest resort or island clinic.

Will I experience seasickness?
Most guests enjoy smooth sailing, especially in calmer seasons (Nov–Apr). Guests prone to seasickness are advised to bring personal motion sickness medication.

Is smoking permitted onboard?
Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Smoking is not allowed inside cabins or enclosed common spaces. Guests are kindly requested to follow all instructions provided by the onboard crew at all times.

Is there a dress code?
The vibe is casual and barefoot chic. While there is no formal dress code, we suggest resort-style attire for dinners and smart casual for evening events.

Can I celebrate a special occasion onboard?
Absolutely! Birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons and other occasions are warmly welcomed. Notify Karma Concierge in advance, and the team will arrange something special. Please do not leave it to the last moment to inform the team.

Is tipping expected?
Gratuities are not mandatory but are the local norm and always greatly appreciated. Tips are pooled and shared equally among all crew members.

When is the best time to visit Baa Atoll?
The prime season is July to October, when plankton-rich waters attract large numbers of manta rays and whale sharks. However, Baa Atoll offers excellent marine biodiversity year-round.
